Welcome to Talk Porty - the online community for Portobello, Scotland. Talk Porty aims to be a virtual "High Street", a space to discuss and debate any matter of interest with relevance to the Portobello and larger (East Edinburgh, Musselburgh, Craigmillar, Duddingston, Craigentinny, etc) area at which people from a range of backgrounds can share views, build partnerships and ultimately bring lasting benefits to the community.

The Portobello Matters forum is for discussion and debate on the big issues affecting Portobello, while G&TT (gossip & tittle tattle) is for more light-hearted discussion. A local buy and sell forum - pBay - is available along with a forum on local history. Private forums can also be created (free of charge) for local organisations. Talk Porty evolved from the forum on the Portobello Online community website.
