Hockey Taster Sessions at Holyrood High School's Astro Pitch
In May/June CALA Edinburgh Hockey Club will run a number of free Taster Sessions, to give all Primary school children in P4 - P7 the opportunity to pick up a hockey stick and try our sport. We are working in partnership with Active Schools and Scottish Hockey and our hope is to establish a CALA satellite club on this side of the city that will be here for years to come.
These Taster Sessions will be led by Scottish Internationalist, Dave Forrester who hopes to be selected for next year’s Commonwealth Games squad.
All pupils in Primaries 4 – 7 are invited to take part in the following Taster Sessions on the Holyrood Astro pitch. No stick required.
Friday May 24th (15.30 – 16.30)
Friday May 31st (15.30 – 16.30)
Friday June 7th (15.30 – 16.30)
Friday June 14th (15.30 – 16.30)
After the summer holidays weekly training sessions at Holyrood High School's astro pitch will begin. Our aim is for this club to be affordable for families; it will cost £1 per child per session.
Initially places will be offered to local children that have attended the Taster sessions.
