On Saturday 25 May there will be an introductory ride aimed specifically at people who are either new to cycling or not confident about doing longer distances. The ride will be for around 2 hours and will be led by an experienced cyclist who will manage the pace to ensure it is comfortable for everyone. The aim is to give you a chance to get out on your bike into the East Lothian countryside and get a feel for riding in a small group. (Note: this ride is not aimed at younger children - the club will be organising family rides too, later in the summer.)
The ride will leave at 9 am from the bandstand at the East end of the Prom. Please make sure your bike is in good working order, and bring a pump, spare inner tube and some water. We may stop at a cafe so a little cash would also be a good idea. Lycra is strictly optional!
