PEDAL has produced a guide to saving energy at home, to help you stay warm and save energy, money and carbon. Written by energy experts, this easy-to-read booklet answers some frequently asked questions, and suggests many ways you can make your home more energy efficient.
There are lots of tips with checklists in the booklet for you to record what you’ve looked at and done to save energy in your own home. We’ve included actions that are appropriate for older houses and tenements, as well as newly built houses.
You can download your free copy at the PEDAL website - - or pick up a paper copy at Portobello Library, Portobello Community Centre (Adelphi Grove), Woodwares hardware store (Portobello High Street), Earthy (Windsor Place), the Citizens Advice Bureau (Bath Street) or Portobello Market (Brighton Park, first Saturday of each month). We also hope to send copies out via the schools and churches.
