Races start at 11am and run until about 3pm. All the races are for these St Ayles skiffs, built by each community as part of the Scottish Coastal Rowing Association. South Queensferry completed and launched their own skiff - Ferry Lass - just two months ago. There will be skiffs from all over Scotland competing in the races on Sunday, in categories for men, women, mixed open and mixed over-55s.
This is also the RNLI Queensferry Lifeboat Open Day, so there is plenty for the spectators to see and do. Here's hoping for lovely weather - or at the very least, a flat sea.
And after that there will be only five weeks to go until the Portobello Regatta here on our own beach! (The last weekend in July: 30th and 31st) If you'd like to lend a hand at the Portobello regatta, with anything from bunting to baking to photocopying, now is the time to volunteer
