1st September is the anniversary of the oldest subway system in the world opening in Boston in 1897.

But more importantly, this 1st September is PORTOBELLO MARKET DAY!!!

This month we’ll have the KAM folk trio will be providing some toe-tapping music between 11.00am and 12.30pm.

And of course, all our usual traders and a few more will be there for your shopping needs, from award winning oils, fresh fish, locally produced fresh meats, continental deli products, great fresh bread, artisan cheeses, hand-made soaps, cards & gifts, seasonal veggies, sushi & noodles, organic herbal teas, knitted crafts, Fair Trade products and a first class BBQ for all you hungry mouths, plus hopefully we’ll have a provider of latte, cappuccino etc.
