It's Easter at the hugely popular Portobello Market, a local community run Farmers market in the heart of Edinburgh's seaside town, Portobello, just off Brighton Place:

Come and join us from 9.30am until 1.30pm on Saturday 4 April.

This Easter market the Edinburgh International Science Festival will have their busking bike on site which is great fun, and very educational, for kids of all ages.

Talking of bikes we also have Dr Bike on site, courtesy of BG Cycles offering FREE bicycle check.

AND we'll have an Easter egg hunt going on all morning.

There's a wide range of sustainably produced foods from fresh coffee, organic fruit and veg, lamb, beef & mutton, oils, breads, jams, pickles, cheese, spices, tray bakes, pies, pastries, sauces, the list goes on. But it's not just food we have to offer: there's handmade jewellery, garden furniture, soaps and artisan wooden gifts, to name just a few.

We run on the first Saturday of every month except January.
