I flew back from Italy on Sunday - on arrival at EDI my tripod hadn't made it, no suprise really since I wanted to take it as hand carry but it's a weapon so had to go in the hold. Turns out it got delivered yeasterday to an "old women" a "few" doors down and they didn't even leave a card or know which house number...

Quality. Good way to meet the neighbours!

[EDIT] Just talked to the couriers again and it was delivered to Seaview Ter, not even the right street! Will have to get writing that letter to BA...

Actually as it turns out Bob is right - it's part of the BTOTB tidal sculpture! It's an air compressor which when the sea reaches a certain level will pump air to raise the "pink things" above the water... Also some 20 (i think) more pink thingies are to be added this week.

I've been trying to put together a decent panorma shot for an age now... Software wise i've been frustrated to say the least! Managed to get something half decent just now from my trip out on the sands at Mussleburgh early Sunday AM:

Here is my attempt at a panorama - wangi, when you say software, does it just match the bits up or does it adjust the colours as well? Any recommendations?

That last one's easily the best I've seen of the "installation"! The yellow/peach sky really does look good behind the pink.

Don't know if i'll sleep now - those things are going to crawl out of the sand and strangle me! :sign12:
