What camera do you have, Poppy?

Also, what (if any) software do you use to make the photos web-sized?

Lovely flower btw. I had a sad look at my roses this morning - I moved them into pots when I turfed that rose bed in the front, and they aren't happy. I think I'm going to get 1 rose this year. I had to prune them heavily and even though I tried my best not to disturb the roots too much, I think I'm going to lose some plants.

One of them had probably been in the rose bed for decades and is well in the huff with me. I've done my best with rose feed, compost, etc but you know how plants are - if you upset them they go well in the huff to the point of dying just to annoy you.

Camera is a Vivitar ViviCam 4345 (4.0 megapixel, 3X zoom, f=5.4-16.2 mm - not that I really know what that means!). It was an impulse buy - was on special offer in Superdrug - camera plus SD card was Â£42!.

Most times have not had to reduce to put on Forum - just that Iris that I zoomed to see what would happen (still on a massive learning curve) and forgot to unzoom when rotating it. Do that sort of thing in either "My Pictures" or Kodak Easyshare from Plug's camera.

Re roses - don't know much about them but sad yours had gone into the huff :cry:

Surely some POLer has green fingers and can help?

This was taken by Plug in October 2004 on a bog standard Olympus! The view from Ratagan, but I'm having a senior moment :oops:

and cannot remember what the view is of (and atlas too small scale).
