Yes, heard the brass band as they were setting up, and I was walking/jogging to Fisherrow. Band at Prestonpans was good too.

My team came in at 3:28, with the other team 4 or 5 minutes behind - very happy with that. My own time was 0:44 for 5.8 mile.

Thanks to everyone who helped raise £1500 for Maggie's Cancer Centres.

Managed 4:33 (by my watch). Chris a few minutes later. Double hamstring cramp at 19 miles was almost the nail in the coffin but managed to get back!

I watched from my window sipping my morning coffee.
Well done, nasty sea breeze to be out in.
We also had the wonderful sight of the bushes below us being used as a pee station
Was surprised some of them could run given the underwear they had on!

Well done Ed. I was on the beach with my dog when the 8000 runners went past. It was a very unfortunately timed walk for me. I just got onto the beach when I saw one of the runners, a man, run onto the sand, pull down his shorts and proceed to do "his business". Had his getaway not been so fast I would have been able to offer him one of Gus's doggie bags. Yeuch!!!!
