Poppy that visitor centre reminds me of either Halifax or Huddersfield so Yorkshire for you as well?

Clever ole Soupy - the second photo was indeed Halifax's Piece Hall. We stayed up the hill from Hebden Bridge and the monument is Stoodley Pike.

Spot on Soupers! We were back at for the first time in several years and had a great holiday. I was persuaded, against my better judgement to along with my son. Just the thing for someone with no head for heights!

Didn't see Poppy on my travels though.

The furthest north we got was to Bolton Abbey near Skipton. We came home via Windermere and Kirkstone Pass having gone down on the M6/65. So I think we were successful in avoiding Bob (did I say that out loud :wink:

)

Keldy is near Pickering, not far from Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay.
