This advertisement dates from 1912 and is posted on behalf of Jim Edward, whose grandfather and father ran this business. Jim writes:

He was also Captain of the St Phillip's Boys Brigade for many years, and club champion at Portobello Bowling Club, in one period alternating several times with my father Robert Edward. |
