Catch up - Malvarosa

Postby Sandra » 30 Mar 2012, 21:58

Hi

It's been a long time since we had a catch up. I'm suggesting lunch/dinner at Malvarosa in May (Fri/Sat/Sun)

If you are interested please comment on availability and hopefully we can all agree!

Bob has suggested buying this (to help fund it)

Malvarosa deal

Cheers

Count me in Sandra. Can't do 18-20 or the 27 May. There are a couple of Friday lunchtimes, which I'd prefer to avoid if possible, but I suspect Friday lunchtime might be out for several people anyway.

Might be worth mentioning that the Edinburgh Marathon is on the 27th May , so Portobello might be quite busy, with road closures, bus diversions etc.

Hi Sandra (and M and all)

I'm up for this too. Our last wee lunch there was excellent.

Either of those dates and either lunch or evening are fine with me.

nobody else indicated they wanted to go/replied to the invitation so we just decided to go ahead and book with the ones who said yes.

No, not just ladies but only a small gathering due to pathetic uptake.
It's an early evening chow and don't know if it's possible to change booking now. Sandra would know perhaps? I hear it can be quite a busy place on the weekend. If making the meal isn't possible we could meet you for a drink afterwards?
Will pm you my moby number and you can let me know if you fancy coming along and meeting us when we're done.

Be great to see you again, old chap.

How about a wee one at the Espy first then? 5.30pm/5.45pm something like that?

You'd be most welcome to join us at some point Nelson, especially if you wear your lycra.

The Espy at 5.45 pm would be grand ecm. :-)

Just in case anyone was planning on joining us at The Espy before the meal, there's been a change of plan. You'll be able to catch us there later though.

Yeah, good, I've got a new shirt to try out, so I might meet you afterwards.

I'm sure that can be arranged.

I must apologise, not looked on G&tTT for weeks and I missed the event, so did POP. I would not have been able to attend due to a reunion commitment but hope to get invited next time.
