Assault in Marlborough St

Did anyone hear or see anything about 8.30 Monday night?
If so can you contact the police
13 year old assaulted by 3 youths in hoodies who made off on pushbikes.

Just wondered if anybody had noticed anything.
The 13 yr old was on his way to a pals house in marlborough St when he was surrounded by 3 youths, punched and knocked to the ground.
The 13 yr old who was bleeding made his way to Kost Koncious where he was looked after til his mum arrived.
They went to the police station to make a report, noticing the assailents were hanging around the corner of High St /Brighton place.
Although treated kindly in the station there were no police officers available to "nab" the bad guys. :shock:

Victim attended A+E ( 4 hour wait ) luckily no fracture but mild concussion and bruising to face

I'm starting to touch reality now.
To be honest the emotions have to be supressed at these times. a mother acting like a Bugblatter Beast of Traal doesn't help the child much as it may vent her anger

Waiting in A+E is a surreal experienced .

We had the obligatory jakey shouting at the payphone (but not using it??!). drunk guy in suit attacking vending machine, bleeders dripping, drunks dozing,tv showing Catherine Zeta Jones film but volume so low that the dialogue cant be heard, and one mother and son sharing a mp3 player, so bored ,bored .
mp3 is mothers, son listens.

Luckily they called him into X ray not long after.

We got home about 3.30 am
There was a bird singing in the car park at ERI
Wanted to shoot it and the stupid pay booth.

Also meant to say when taking stricken pal to car we had a group of neds hanging around at the enrance to our stair. i asked them why, got a wee bit lip, then I said I'm not arguing I'm taking this lad to get attention and the police have been informed .
On cue his nose started to bleed.

So I got on the mob, to ask for hubby to nip down with some tissues , but they didn't know that and started to wander off

Eldest son has chummed youngest son's pals home
