Notes on Interpretation of Rule 103: This rule always applies, unless we know the individual(s) responsible and agree with their cause.

Seriously though, Bob's comments about the 'No to the superstore' poster on his street imply that the argument really concerns the permanence and/or the content of the bill - rather than the fact it is there at all. This, in turn, suggests that Surrealist has hit the nail on the head.
All rather unfortunate, since I'd quite like a new superstore (admittedly just because the High Street does not currently have a single redeeming feature and a major new attraction may just change that) and, although I have always opposed the invasion of Iraq, I've had a major problem with lefties since they hijacked a student demo I was involved in around 20 years ago (they let us organise it, stood in the background, then jumped out with their posters when Thatcher's car drove past and the cameras started rolling).
If I put a 'Yes to the superstore' poster up but promise to tear it down when planning permission is refused (due to the hysterical and ill-informed campaign being waged by Nimbies throughout Portobello), will that be allowed to remain?Statistics: Posted by Guest — 21 Mar 2004, 00:35
