Bye bye Maryfield; longer Wilson's Park
Posted: 13 Mar 2011, 17:35The work at Towerbank Primary to unite the school + playground is cracking on; the "new" road to the south of the site is taking shape:
When I first heard of this work I wondered why they wouldn't just keep the Maryfield name for the moved road? It's being lost. But if you dig back into the old maps it's interesting to see that there was previously a road in this location, and right enough it was called Wilson's Park:
