Has anyone else been watching this excellent programme on BBC2 on Friday and Sunday evenings?

A team of experts in various fields are travelling all around Britain's coastline looking at the history, marine life, geology, folklore etc of the various places they visit.

I'm not sure what the starting point of this journey was as I missed the very first programme but they have been travelling up the west coast of England and Wales and just last week covered the coast of Northern Ireland.

This week they hit the north west of Scotland and will eventually get around to the east coast and perhaps Porty.

There are designated walks at various points all around Britain with info packs available in conjunction with the OU. I know that one of the walks is for Leith and no doubt it will feature in a future episode.

The first episode was the easterly part of the south coast of Ingerland. Yes, it's good although have missed a couple myself.

[Although the presenter's teeth keep putting me in mind of Dick Emery's vicar persona!! ]
