Bathroom Fitters

I am looking to get a new shower room designed and fitted - has anyone got any recommendations of companies in this area to use or to stay away from?

Wangi, there are a lot of dodgy trades men out there and I'm sorry that you had experience of this. I consider myself very lucky! Married the right man for many reasons - and all of them good !

Well, we started getting our kitchen fitted in February. I don't have any complaints about the fitters (John Lewis) but delays by their flooring department have prevented us finishing the kitchen (chiefly because the plinth has to be scribed to fit the floor - after the flooring is laid!).

Flooring is now scheduled to go down tomorrow, so I've taken the day off work.

Here's hoping.

Bit of a blether and often looking at extra 'problems' but have never had any cause for complaint about them.

Oh, how infuriating, Marya. Apparently the roofer who just did almost our entire street was a cowboy... Ach well.

If you need a plumber, we had a brilliant guy who turned up exactly when he said he would, did every extra job we suggested while he was around, and was generally a good laugh too. The plumber is John Parks, business name is JP Plumbing, but he does everything, really - he plastered our walls and so on too, and his mobile number is 07973 305488. He's also an electrician - we would highly recommend him, having had more than our fair share of dodgy plumbers.
