Anyone know of the location of a sloe/blackthorn tree/bush in the area? I fancy making some sloe brandy.

Yep! Try the foot path which runs up the side of the old Big W. There were some beauties there a few weeks ago....some of which are in my freezer !

There are plenty in Blackford Glen. If you head in from the Cameron Toll end, there's some just past the quarries.
