Viruses are a problem for all users of the internet and recently I have received emails containing the W32/MyDoom-A virus (or variants of it) at the rate of around 3 a day. Fortunately, I know what it is and just delete the message. However, UNLESS you have virus protection software AND you update the virus defiinitions on a regular basis you may be unwittingly helping to spread this and other viruses.

I only have a single license for McAfee, so how do I instal AVG 6 on my 15 year old Mitsubishi 21"? I don't know the model number but it does have a SCART socket.

Will it also protect me from David Dickinson?

I took advantage of the free virus download but had to get my technical friend to come round and sort out what had become a large complicated problem. I was downloaded but not installed- and was quite happy with that! McAfee was remeoved on Saturday so I unknowingly spent the next 48 hours unprotected. It's all sorted out now though.

Technical friend says it's quite a complicated download for non-techies.
