I wonder - did I miss something, or is the fact that my wheely bin is still on the pavement chock-full of 3 weeks rubbish down to a cooncil cockup?

What I read in the Evening News last week was that they are not emptying them in this windy weather in case they blow away! Could be in for a long wait...

Well, they were out emptying the bins in Bellfield Lane earlier today, wind or no wind!
For what it's worth Wangi last week they were being collected a day later than normal - just the seasonal backlog I'd suspect.

I wrote to the council last year about it and they quite litterally refused to answer. I ended up down in the dumps.

... but our bins in Pittville Street were not emptied yesterday - although we did get 'done' after Christmas and after New Year.

Not El P!! Thanks for warning, but have had a special uplift before at this address and it worked OK so will use exactly the same spot! It's tricky though as the pavement is very narrow in places and it's a double bed I'm ditching!!
