Radio Free Porty : potential licensing deal with live-cast

Postby Dadaist » 18 Oct 2005, 13:33

We have been offered a fully licensed stream of the same capacity that we currently broadcast at (10 users, unlimited data transfer, 64kbps) by this company :

http://www.live-cast.co.uk/

I can't remember where I found them - was it someone on here who recommended them (if so, thanks!)?

Anyways, the cost is £25 per month. This is a complete hosting and licensing fee as live-cast.co.uk already have PPL licensing and are just about (so they say) to get their mcps/prs.

I have £160 waiting to be spent on a year's hosting - shall we spend it on 6-months' worth where we can play anything we like?

If I get a "yes" from enough of you, or if there are no major objections, I'm going to go ahead with this once I have checked in with the mcps lads.

£300 per annum sure does beat £1600 !!
