Good shout. That takes me back to around 1975. I had a friend who was a huge Jimi fan and a few of us used to go round his place with a case or two of Newcastle Brown and turn the volume up to max, invariably throw up at some point during the proceedings, then drink some more before finally crashing out on the floor. Come to think of it, he had very understanding parents.

The debuts from the Stooges and the Ramones would certainly be on my list and although, strictly speaking, not her first solo release, Bjork's startling 'Debut' album is difficult to overlook. Such great videos too.
