The previous Datta restaurant looks close to opening up again as Sizzler (I think). Looks like the man who previously owner Pizza Paradise now owns this new one. Seems really nice from what I've seen so far - possibly Turkish? There's a great Turkish cafe on the shore at Leith that does amazing food and has really friendly service - they give you wee tasters of food and don't mind you sitting for a long time over one coffee. I think I've seen the man who has this in Sizzler. What a nice thought!
Does anyone know anything for definate? Most of the above is wishful thinking.

DG - do you mean Truva along at Leith? It's one of our favourite places. Would be great if this new restaurant is anything like it

Dada family have been very happy patrons of Truva for years!
Truva do Turkish breakfast, which is nice and refreshing and just like you get on your holidays. Cheese, meat, toast, stuffed vine leaf and pickle.
Some of the sweet things are a bit too sweet for my tooth - but nice nevertheless - and when you've had something that has been steeped in honey you don't need to put any sugar in your coffee!
The piece de resistance at Truva has to be the fact that they serve Turkish coffee - completely different from espresso but one hell of a hit.
Truva is so authentic that all you'd need is a bit of sunshine and some stray cats and you could be in Turkey.
