And of course, it might just jolt one or two of you into actually getting round to it.

That's true however you comment on an application; they'll only accept representations with a name and address.

That's true- one of our community councillors; Anne ward, tried to submit an anonymous objection to a recent planning application that we submitted. the planners sent it back and asked her to reveal her identity.
