Happy Diwali everyone

As if we needed an excuse/reason to have an Indian for tea tonight.
In honour of Diwali, Sainsburys have some great deals on their Indian meals including free rice dishes with their individual dishes.
So, that's tea sorted.
Its also custom to light candles and lamps and wear some new clothes so I might get round to trying on my PoL T shirt finally.

Good news [except for those humans and animals who don't like fireworks :cry:

] at Hogmanay, Chinese New Year and Diwali you can set of fireworks until 1 a.m. :occasion9:

[It's 11 pm for the rest of the year and midnight on Bonfire night. ]

Coul;dn't do anything this year as I was busy this weekend, but last year it was wonderful. We were at a posh hotel in Tobago without children, and it's a big festival there. The whole hotel was lit by deyas, even the pool, and it was absolutely beautiful.
