Cool photos Surrealist - especially the last one of the steps. Exposure (always a tricky one) is dead-on. What software do you use for editing? I'm firmly devoted to Paintshop Pro 8.

I still take photos the old-fashoned way, with 35mm film and a tripod. Just started taking night-photos, by coincidence - here's one of my first here --


I was impressed by Elaine's night-time shots of the prom and so that will be my next exercise.

BTW: Be very careful if you're photographing the docks --- I got stopped by a jobsworth at 6 o'clock last Sunday morning just becuase I was photographing in the Seafield industrial estate. (Okay, I know it's not very picturesque, but one day - like London's docklands - Seafield will be completely redevoloped, and I want a record of how it looks today.)

BTW Part 2: Overlord X. Cool dude. Loved the first album, but somehow never got around to buying the second...

The only editing I do is cutting the size down using the Gimp.

Some people are quite skilled with photoshop, arent they!!

Overlord gave me permission to host his mp3s so feel free to d/l the second album - it's very reminiscent of Fear Of A Black Planet and is my favourite - most people are like you and only got into the first one.

I loved your coo photo and the farked pics were hilarious....

Nice atmospheric pics Surrealist.
I admit, I cheated and googled "naf" and eventually found Bonaire (never heard of it before) which lies off the Venezualan coast.
How exotic and very not naf as a holiday destination.

I never would have thought of getting my gimp to help with photography editing! Once he's finished cleaning the loo and licking my shoes clean, I'll get my camera out and get him right onto it.

Yeah, I think the na stands for Netherlands Antilles but i don't know what the f stands for - florins maybe. There are 3 islands in the Antilles - Bonaire, Aruba and Curacao and we were in Bonaire - so full marks!
