Hogmanay in Porty

Since so many of you are longtime Porty people, any suggestions about where best to view the 7 hills fireworks on Hogmanay? New wee one in the family means slogging around Princes St isn't an option, but Aussie relatives visiting mean we need to be able to offer them something memorable. (And not admit that we were too busy/slack to get party tickets in the free draw)

The flat roof of my friend's bungalow conversion in Seaview crescent offers a good view I've been told
Last year Scossie, there were no fireworks up town because of the weather, but we had a great time down on Porty beach, gathered round a bonfire with friends, letting off the remnants of our firework collection from Guy Fawkes. We were not the only ones as there were several bonfires and lots of other families doing the same as us. Porty fair out-partied Princes Street. Seem to remember seeing that "The Dalriada" are hosting a New Year Bash this year.
Remember too that you can still get Party passes by joining the First Foot Club, but they won't be free
