Has anybody tried getting there recently on a bus?
I did last week and it was a complete nightmare! After about 40 years of a 12 becoming a 2 on the same route and vice versa, I discovered that it now goes to Asda and changes to.......a 5! The 32 only runs ever HALF AN HOUR! It now goes nowhere near the Fort (unless you count Niddrie Road and an uphill walk) so, to get there I got off at Asda and walked over a dirt track and to get back the quickest route was a 30 to Musselburgh and then a 26 to Portobello. Absolutely ridiculous! So much for trying to get people to use public transport! I will not be going shopping at the Fort (or B&Q or Wickes for that matter) without the car ever again.

Maybe we could 'car pool' for B&Q? I am hazy on the detail, but worth a thought?

Scossie when I was reading Bellybabe's post that thought of "car pooling" was going through my head - defo good idea. Does anyone else like the idea?
