I hope she did too, in spite of problems with the entertainment...!

Glad to hear Aladdin is good - we always go on Hogmanay. We take my brother and his family who barely understand a word of it. We were at Jack and the Beanstalk yesterday at the Brunton, with St Phillip's toddler group - really enjoyed it in spite of having a difficult day. Slightly freaked myself - never mind the bairns - at the scene where Jill is kidnapped at knifepoint, though... Not a recommended show for wee ones - far too scary. But very funny.

It's a sad day in Joppa.

The Pal of Porty household was only just getting over the sad demise of 'S Club 7' and now we have to handle the equally tragic 'Busted' bust up!

On the brighter side - does this mean I will be getting offers of over Ã‚Â£100 for each of Pal of Porty's Son's two Busted CD's?

Hmm, 'gigs' eh... thanks for the info.

I had a lovely jaunt across the M8 today listening to Paul Gambuccini (sp?) interviewing people about and playing bits from The Who Live at Leeds from (gulp) 1970!

What a superb band in every respect.

It sent me home to dig out some Who stuff only to find its disappeared with the exception of the Tommy and Quadrophenia albums :cry:

They must have gone to the same place as my long lost copy of 'we have a dream' which vanished some years ago (sob)

Pah! to the beatles and Pah! to the stones when theres bands like the Who about!

From a bit later (1986) I was playing Red Box - The Circle and the Square at the weekend, now that I've finally established a place for the turntable, hurrah!
