Heinz Mean Beanz

Has anyone tried these yet? You also get Jalfrezi, Sweet Chilli and Tikka.

I've been adding curry powder and smoked sausage to beans for years, much to BB's disgust.

I have tried Mean Beanz (notice the clever marketing? from Beanz Meanz Heinz? no, I didn't either til I searched for the pic above) Sweet Chilli on toast yesterday and they were very nice.

Made me pump a fair bit though.

I'm surprised you're not into la cuisine francaise chez Fille de Teddy - what with all your snails and frogs!

And some juicy looking doves frequent your garden too, I've noticed, to get a the wee birdies food.

Went to Donnington the other week and had a can of these for breakfast.

Quite nice but you wonder why you couldn't just put some curry powder in.

BTW - an OXO cube crumbled in to baked beans and a tiny bit of ketchup tastes great.

Poppy, how could you think that I would ever eat one of my frogs :shock:

I know I buy worms off the internet to fatten them up but I can assure you it is for their benefit only.

As for that fat dove........well I used to eat a lot of wood pigeon as a girl, they were known as cushie doos in my neck of the woods and very tasty they were too. Don't really fancy it these days though so the doo is safe as long as he doesn't eat all the seed that I put out for the wee birds.

I taught my son to say 'bottom burp' then Homer undermined all my teaching, saying that he would be ridiculed at school by 'normal' boys who were more in your face (quite literally according to Homer's childhood experiences) about their gaseous emissions. He then encouraged son to perfect the art of the arm fart and recently I heard them discuss at great length if the silent type were in fact, more deadly :roll:

Oh and did you know that it's also hilarious to disrupt lessons by farting ?:evil:

Been staying at the Copthorne Hotel in Newcastle for the last few days. The Room Service menu offered Heinz Beans on Toast for the meagre sum of ..Ã‚Â£8.50 :shock:
