Remax vs ESPC

Mrs IV, Mini IV and I are moving. Not far I may add, just up the road a wee bit!

We've bought (our offer has been accepted anyway) and now we need to sell. I am keen to go with Remax because you get a dedicated salesperson who actually makes an effort to sell your property for you. The financials between Remax and the ESPC route are roughly the same, so that is not really a consideration.

A couple we are pals with have recently sold their house via Remax but they have said, very sensibly, that they can't recommend Remax, they can only recommend the Remax agent that they dealt with. (They live in a different area so they have a different Remax agent.)

Has anyone had any experience of the Remax agents in this area? Have you (or anyone you know) recently bought/sold/let through Remax? Any feedback would be appreciated!
