Tuesday morning, I get post for some woman at the other end of the street.

Thursday I get am email from the Council wanting to know why mail sent to my home address has been returned marked as not known at this address.

Today, I get post for someone else who lives along my road.

What a carry on.

With all due respect to posties surely it isnt that hard to deliver a letter when the building, doors and letters are clearly addressed.

I had this problem a while back and the manager at the delivery office gave me his assurance there would be no further problems. Clearly his assurances are worth f all.

Today, I called him 5 mins ago and says its due to a minor reorganisation with the rounds and it wont happen again. We shall see.

Does make you think, the letters ive got for other people this week could contain personal financial details, results of an aids test or anything personal. Imagine how these people would feel if I had opened these letters or even put them in the bin.

As I happens I did open a letter for someone else. I assumed that all the post delivered to me was for me, I paid no attention to the name & address on the envelope. It wasnt until I opened it and seen it was a credit card statment that I realised it wasnt mines.

Anyone else having problems I wonder?
