We bought some Parkin and we don't even know what it is!

My fairy cake had hundreds and thousands on it, and I got coffee in a proper cup on a saucer. Neo-Dadaist was smiling at Susan Deacon MSP.

A fun day out for all the family!!

I spotted you. Emily was playing up and you left. Sommthing stopped my from spladooshing you? :oops:

The funny thing is I was sitting at the LP table and a lady came up and started discussing a local issue with me. I believe she thought I was a councillor! Anyway, after about 5 minutes I told her I would bring it up at the meeting next week. Am I bad?

The home baking was brilliant and the Coffee was good too. It all ended rather weakly when they had to put the Danish Pastries in to the reduced items section. A bit like a Supermarket, announced one witty observer.

Many thanks to everyone who came along to support the PCATS coffee morning. We raised Ã‚Â£250. Thanks also to all those who baked and helped out. It was indeed like a Labour Party mini-conference in there at times. We were also expecting Tone to turn up but he didn't have the heart for it!

In answer to Dadaist's comment that he doesn't know what parkin is, it's a Yorkshire delicacy, customarily eaten around plot (bonfire) night, made with oatmeal and black treacle. Hope you enjoy it.
