Capra's film 'It's a Wonderful Life' starring James Stewart still gets me every time. It should be compulsory viewing when someone is feeling a bit low and un-appreciated.

Has anyone ever heard of a cartoon film called Nobody's Boy?
I was obsessed with it when I was a kid but it made me cry buckets - the only film that ever did till i got grown-up hormones. My mam worked in a tv/video place and she used to bring it home for me all the time.
The only other person I've ever met who's heard of it is my ex-hubby. In fact I think that's why I married him.
Anyone else?

Yes, i read the chalet school books. And go to meetings

No, Sans Famille was a book they (the middles or juniors) had to read a lot - in one of the books they did some tableaux or something for a "Saturday night" and one of them was where the man found Remi freezing to death or something... And now I know the story as I loved it as a kid!
