When? 28-29 May, starting at 11.00 am on the Saturday.
Where? Portobello Indoor Bowling and the Prom

The charity , which supports bereaved children across Edinburgh and the Lothians, has organised a 'Mile of Memories' on Sat 28 May. 'Memory Sticks' decorated with messages, memories, and pictures of friends and family will stretch along the sea-front.

The event will be launched on Saturday 28 May at 11.00 am by DJ Scott Wilson and Chaplin's Disco. There will also be Highland dancers, majorettes, a Beat the Goalie competition, face painting and a demonstration event from two spinners.

Artists will be painting and selling their pictures.

Portobello Bowls are offering FREE bowling for all ages on Sat and Sun 10.00 am -14.00 pm.

There will also be a mobile climbing wall.

On Sunday 29 May there will be a car boot sale with money raised going to 'Richmond's Hope'. The boot sale will be from 10.00 am - 14.00 pm. Access to sellers will be from 8.30 am. The charge is £10 per car if pre-booked or £12 on the day. Sellers can book by contacting the Bowling Centre reception 0131 669 0878
