Roadworks on Portobello High St: Oct & Nov 2011

Long delays at lunchtime
Even worse getting back into Porty, there's also a set of temporary traffic lights on Harry Lauder Road so it was at at standstill too.
I've not seem so much congestion around Kings Road since they undid the roundabout

Sat in a v long queue yest around mid afternoon.

I just feel sorry for the poor souls living beside the work being done during the night!

If anyone wants to avoid the jams, on a bike, there's no delays at all...

It has actually made it even quicker by bike as the traffic is now stationary at the Fishwives Causeway crossing on the Harry Lauder road - you do not even have to wait for the green man!
