Hahahahahah. Nice one VP - did you think that my post in this thread thanking you for congratulating me would be my 500th post????

You may have noticed I have briefly turned into a Babe. Fear not, I am deep in thought as to what my 500th post will be.

Until then, I teeter still at 499 and try and think up something better than Sally Field's "you like me" speech.

I'm thinking of going more for Moore - some sort of inappropriate angry rant which will make half of you boo, but the fellow leftists nod and stroke their chins in wise agreement.

At this juncture the only person I am going to thank formally is the Project Manager, appointed today, who has taken charge of the Renovations at Dada Towers. Having previously impressed us with his work on the conservatory at the Dada-In-Laws house, we were locked in discussions with him until todays turning point. Hands have now been spat upon and work will commence this weekend.

The rest of you will recieve your thanks, or otherwise, with verbosity, reciprocity, and perhaps animosity, in due course.

His name is Chester, and he will be 14 in August. I think he will like his new home, especially as it has all sorts of nooks that inquisitive cats like to hide in, on, under etc

I hope you can get him there! Mine used to disappear as soon as she saw boxes appearing and the flat being packed up. We eventually used to have to send her off to my Mam and Dad before we started. Although Chester has already survived one move, of course.
