Bike vs pothole

Poor Clanger 2 has not long replaced his stolen bike.
Then yesterday he was cycling home, hit a pothole which broke a spoke
The lovely folk at B and G cycles in Portobello High Street fixed it for him
and didn't charge saying it was under warranty

So thank you to them, seems it pays to shop local

B & G cycles are fab, aren't they. They did my tyres for free last year even though it required some experimenting, and a hammer

I bought bike's for me and the wife from there last year and they were great - even do a check up after a year to make sure the bikes are still working right - much better then Halfrauds!!!

We live right above the bike shop . All the lads are great. They have rescued me when I got locked out. If they see me with heavy shopping they carry it upstairs . Wee stars all

I'm all for supporting local, especially one's LBS. It is a very useful shop to have around. As far as them working on my bike goes I've had a couple of good experiences with the shop and one bad. The bad one, sadly, was annoying enough to put me off going back, but we'll see when I next need some work done.
